April weather in Colorado often can be crazy, and we ended up with a wild and stormy spring day for Charlotte's one year birthday photo session.  A thunderstorm and some strong gusty wind had just passed through the area as I drove to meet Chris and Melanie to make the final decision on whether we should try to do the session or reschedule.  Melanie had the final say and made the adventurous decision that we should go for it and see how it went - and I'm so glad we did!  The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and the grass was so green from all the recent rain and snow - the setting was just perfect for a spring session.  You almost can't even tell that it was windy and stormy from the photos.  Charlotte handled everything like a champ and lit up the photos with her beautiful smile.  What a happy girl!  And you can see why, with such loving, happy parents.   Enjoy!  :)
