Last September, I met with one of my favorite families, the Boeka's, to commemorate their sweet girl's first birthday -- and of course capture some family photographs as well.  I have had the pleasure of photographing Miss Liana since she was a brand new babe, and it is one the most rewarding aspects of my profession to be able to capture these milestones and memories for their parents and families.  Big brother Maceo was a little reluctant about the session at first, but we got him warmed up and he ended up being all smiles by the end of the session.  Late summer is a lovely time of year for family portraits, the temperatures had cooled off just a little, and a few signs of fall were just beginning to show in the grasses and trees.  Here are some of my favorites from the session.  Enjoy! :)
